We are a small community that started with fellowship in various homes and now meet at Bellhaven University Desoto Campus location. Our meeting times are each Shabbat from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by an oneg. During our meeting time we review the weekly Torah portion, pray the traditional Mussaf prayers and are currently studying the 613 commandments. In this study, we examine the traditional Jewish interpretation of the commandment, how it relates to Brit Hadasha (New Testament) and other scriptures, and practical applications in our lives today.
On Shabbat afternoon a local Torah Club meets at our location. This is a great Bible study. If you are interested please visit torahclub.ffoz.org. Simply click “find a club”, search for the Southaven, MS location and select the “connect” button.
Torah Family Fellowship has a suggested dress code for Shabbat and all other gatherings. Shorts are discouraged. Dresses and skirts should be long enough to cover the knees. Shirts should have sleeves, and they should be long enough to cover mid-sections. Necklines should be high enough not to reveal cleavage. Tight pants or leggings should be covered by shirt that is long enough to reach mid-thigh. We thank you for being respectful in your dress.
